Late payment
Failure to receive a bill does not excuse you from paying water utilities and penalties.
If you are late paying your bill, a penalty charge of 5% will be added to your outstanding balance. Penalties will not be waived. A First Reminder notice will be either mailed or emailed to notify you of this charge and the new balance owing.
If your account balance remains unpaid two weeks after the bill due date, a Final Reminder Notice will be either mailed or emailed, and a Final Reminder Notice fee of $25.00 will be applied to your water account.
If your account balance remains unpaid 45 days after the bill due date, your balance exceeds $100.00 and no payment plans have been arranged with the Township, your outstanding water account balance will be transferred to your property tax account. A Transfer to Taxes fee of $40.00 will also be applied.
