Call Before you Dig

All companies, contractors and residents performing excavation, drilling, blasting or auguring should call before they dig.

Hitting wires, pipes or cables can cause serious injuries or even death and an interruption to essential services. To prevent this, the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act requires that all underground services be accurately located and marked prior to excavation.

Ontario One Call

Before you dig, you must contact Ontario One Call. An Ontario One Call representative will take information about your project and notify the appropriate utility companies to mark buried lines, so you can dig safely around them.
